About Ed Wittmeier Ford
Ed Wittmeier Ford is the product of the decades-long vision of Ed Wittmeier, who started his career in the auto industry as manager of Tike Decious Ford before opening Wittmeier Ford in 1978 and Wittmeier Honda in 1984.
Ed's philosophy wasn't about selling someone a car, it was about taking care of the customer's transportation needs.
Ed had a dream to create an Auto Center that could support up to 1,000 vehicles dedicated to automotive sales and service. In order to achieve this dream, Ed purchased property off Forest Avenue and fronting Highway 99. The goal was to create an efficient and aesthetically pleasing center to fit all needs.
The new dealership opened in the early 1990s, drawing customers from throughout the north valley and beyond. It gave consumers more automotive choices.
In 1995, Wittmeier started construction on the Chevrolet dealership next door after purchasing King Chevrolet, expanding its selection of vehicles.
Today, the dealership includes Ford, with new and used vehicles.
Although Ed is no longer with us, the dealership is still family-owned and operated.
